Spring 2010 Schedule
- Opening Ceremony: January 31st
- LTI Holidays: February 14th, March 21st, and April 4th
- Closing Ceremony: May 9th
LTI meets on the MIT campus every Sunday from 12-4 PM. Sessions are held on the MIT Campus which is accessible via the Red Line at the Kendall/MIT stop. Sessions are held in Room 4-145.
Students are required to attend all 12 sessions, although up to 2 absences will be excused.
LTI Community Service Projects
Each student will develop their own community service project to tackle a problem they identify in their community. Mentors help the students through every step of the process.
Past projects have included:
- Setting up a Peer Assistance Leadership program at a student's high school to combat depression.
- Organizing a recycling competition at a student's high school.
- Planning a beach clean-up at Revere Beach.
