LTI Expansion
The development trip plans to China and Brazil have been finalized. The expansion trip to Brazil is set to take place from January 7th though the 29th for LTI staff members :Tina, Michaela, Susan, and David. Members are in the process of finalizing the curriculum and preparing the materials to establish LTI's first international chapter. Staff members are set to give a series of instructional presentations complete with basic materials for a new LTI colony. The IAP trip for China has been canceled and rescheduled for the summer months.
General Body Meetings
After the second General Body Meeting, plans for the spring semester are quickly being finalized. Currently, the programming committee has completed and finalized the new curriculum for the spring semester. The Public Relation Committee has finalized selections for this upcoming LTI class. This year's class will be LTI's most diverse class yet. Finally, the Finance committee is preparing a new flower sale fundraiser for the spring semester.
Upcoming Events
Public Relations Committee is pleased to announce the LTI Class of 2010. This year's students feature alumni from LTI's HSSP program and new Splash Class as well as students from over nine Boston-area high schools. An inclusive welcoming packet complete with the final spring schedule and opening ceremony invitations have been mailed to our accepted students. The 2010 LTI Opening Ceremony featuring alumni presentations is set to take place on Sunday January 31, 2010.
