Student Recruitment
After a successful recruitment campaign, LTI has accepted thirteen students into the Spring 2009 Program. The high schools represented include Acton-Boxborough Regional High School, North Reading High School, Boston College High School, Melrose High School, Cambridge Rindge and Latin School, Revere High School, and Excel High School. Congratulations to all and a huge thank you to the Publicity Committee!
December Executive Meeting
All members on the executive board met on December 9th to discuss the roles of each position and determine future voting and promotion procedures. Decisions made during this meeting will be reflected in the updated LTI Constitution.
December GBM
Mentors and executive members all came together on December 11th for updates from the Board of Directors and ice cream to celebrate the end of a productive semester. Founder YeSeul Kim and Director Amanda Mok gave closing remarks after an awards ceremony.
Executive Board Recruitment
LTI will be recruiting for several positions during the spring semester to fill in vacancies and establish an expansion committee. An informational session will be held at the beginning of February.
Curriculum Changes
After many updates and reorganizations, the final version of the Spring 2009 curriculum will be distributed to mentors during the Independent Activities Period. Executive members and mentors alike are all excited to work with students during the spring semester.
Opening Ceremony
The opening ceremony for the Spring 2009 Program will be held on February 1st. More details will be provided as the event nears. Please mark your calendars!
